Last week PGS installed this Portland stone Deaconsfield fireplace. The Deaconsfield is an elegant design with plain features, this customer chose to have the Lydbury detail on the Jamb (legs) of the fireplace which we think worked really well. We kept the original slate outer hearth and added a bottom slate slip (just below the fire grate). The fireplace design really suited the Somerset farmhouse.
